Leveraging Fractional Leadership to Prototype a New Campus Program
Leveraging Fractional Leadership to Prototype a New Campus Program
Clients: OffScript (ZBT Foundation)

Fractional Leadership
Context:
The ZBT Foundation wanted to help college students build bridges across political and identity differences on campus, but most dialogue programs struggle to reach the overwhelmed, over-committed majority of students who tune out anything that feels like a lecture or a political ask.
The Collaboration:
Designing Impact prototyped the OffScript program, but because the ZBT Foundation couldn't dedicate existing staff, Shalu Umapathy served as a Fractional Program Director, engaging campuses, building materials, and identifying partner organizations. This enabled the program to maintain momentum during the school year, when building partnerships and prototyping timing was critical.
