Prototyping Magic
Context:
Curriculum Associates, the K-12 education company behind i-Ready (serving over 11 million students across the U.S.), needed a clear, org-wide view of where AI could responsibly create value, without a single top-down mandate that ignored how differently each team actually works.
The Collaboration:
Shalu led a series of cross-functional workshops and design sprints with individual teams to develop a strategic AI opportunity map, surfacing priority use cases aligned to instructional equity, internal efficiency, and product-led innovation. From there, the team built and ran a set of AI prototypes to improve day-to-day operations, kicking off the organization's broader shift toward thoughtful, org-wide AI adoption.
